This center, with technical staff and all necessary equipments, has facilities for preparation of specimens for an optical microscope. Researchers can either receive technical services from the staff or use the equipments by themselves with or without staff's assistance. The services available are brain perfusion, preparation of thin sections for microscopy from frozen and paraffin-embedded blocks, tissue staining using general and immunohistochemical methods, as well as training to those who need histological skill.
